Winter enjoyment
Play indoor bowls in our large, warm hall over the winter months when our outdoor greens are unavailable. Yes, we use regular outdoor bowls indoors, for a familiar feel. With ditches at each end, it replicates an outdoor experience.
Fun and comradeship
Our afternoons are run by our veteran member Ken Adams on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons starting at 1 pm. With drawn teams of three or four, the fun, banter, and camaraderie are always evident. Enjoy a social drink at the bar after play and meet new members and guests.
Friendly competition
For $5 an afternoon, enjoy three games of eight ends with the winning team swapping between rinks after each game. Take away the prize money as the overall winning team, or simply watch and maybe participate in a raffle with a drink at the bar as a member or guest.
Open to all who want to give it a go?
Our indoor bowls programme is perfect for club members, visitors, and business groups wanting a great team building occasion, or anyone looking for a fun, social, active time. Everyone is welcome, and affordable fun games afternoons or evenings can be organised for business groups on request. These can include coffee, tea and bar facilities, (with a barman), or other extras such as catering, as required.
Indoor club days
Our club winter Wednesday and Saturday indoor bowls afternoons are open to all club members and visitors. At just $5 per person for these non-business events, you can enjoy an afternoon of engaging games and good company, with the bar open afterwards.
Wednesday and Saturday games begin at 1:00 pm, so please arrive by 12:30 pm to sign up if you are wanting to play.
At the Beckenham Bowling Club part of the money gained from entry is retained to be won by the overall winning team of any afternoon event, with a raffle and other prize draws also available.
Corporate & business team building
Corporate or business team building indoor bowls occasions can be arranged on request for groups from 8 to 32 players on a day or evening that suits.
The cost for a Team Building or Big Bash evening is affordable at $200 per event, plus any money or prizes you would like to put up for your special occasion. Tea and coffee are supplied with extra charges quoted for a barman, or any other requirements you may want such as pizzas.
Your staff just have to turn up at your allotted time, as club bowls will be provided for any participant of any private event.

Try a Big Bash bowls evening
Ideal for family, friends or business groups. Gather up your crew and book in for an evening of Big Bash Indoor Bowls. You may want to put out a challenge to another group or business to see if you can secure the bragging rights. To make it more exciting still, if you play for $5 per player, the total pool can be awarded to the winning team.
